Tool Room Engineer - Carbon Steel Plant

Job description Role & responsibilities Will maintain day to day toolings of Press shop. Tooling includes, progressive tools, compound tools, press brake dies and punches. Will address day to day challenges, of stamping, blanking, forming, bending misfeed, damages, tool life, replacement of spares, inspection of tools etc. Shall follow ISO Standard procedures, implementation of lean manufacturing, Tag system, History card system. Preventive maintenance of Press Tools. 5s and EHS adherence. ISO Standard documentation to maintain daily / regularly. Supporting NPD team / Tool suppliers for new tool design finalization, strip layout, T0, T1 and Final Trial. Designing, concept readiness for new tooling. Preferred candidate profile Diploma (IGTR/CTTC/NTTF)/Diploma (Mech)/BE/BTech (Mech) with 4-5 years of experience in relevant industry.
