Hardware Networking Support Engineer

Job description Role & responsibilities Design and install secure and efficient computer networks, connections, and cabling. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose system failures and resolve network bottlenecks. Inspect LAN/WAN infrastructure and resolve minor and major issues. Test, configure, and maintain software, hardware, and peripheral devices. Evaluate network performance and implement improvements for efficiency. Schedule and organize upgrades and maintenance without disrupting operations. Perform regular data backups to protect the organizations critical information. Provide technical support and guidance to co-workers on hardware and network usage. Document network setups, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for future reference. Preferred candidate profile 2-3 years of experience in hardware & networking or a relevant position. Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Deep understanding of LAN/WAN networks, TCP/IP protocols, and network technologies. Hands-on experience with hardware installation, troubleshooting, and software configuration. Ability to repair and maintain computers, servers, and network infrastructure.
