Job description We are looking for a new colleague within the Corporate Materials Management Department - ZF Commodity Purchasing Aluminium Castings Your Tasks: Responsibility for strategic and competitive sourcing of assigned commodity (Aluminium casting) Taking over Supplier Championship for India strategic suppliers. Generating and executing Sourcing and Supplier strategies Achieve cost saving targets and manage Raw material inflations. Responsible for Part Family Strategy & India for Export execution Monitor supply chain to avoid risks from supplier side Escalation Management and supplier Tooling Management. Your Profile: Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant experience in Strategic Sourcing 6+ years of experience in the role or similar ones including Casting operations. Techno Commercial knowledge about Die / part design, process expertise on HPDC and problem solving is an added advantage. Good experience and knowledge in SAP and MS Office Assertiveness and strong communication skills in handling and negotiating with the suppliers as well as interpersonal and cross-cultural expertise Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as Flexibility and high willingness to travel.
