Job Description & Scope
Job description Candidates should possess between 8to 10 years of experience in software test automation utilizing Java/J2EE, with a strong understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, recursive and non-recursive programming, method overloading, method overriding, ArrayList, Vector, serialization, HashSet, and more. A minimum of 3 years of automation experience is mandatory, with overall experience exceeding 5 years. Proven, deep hands-on coding skills with Selenium WebDriver, BDD, and JavaScript are essential, along with experience in framework development. Experience in API automation using RestAssured or Selenium (NOT Postman or SOAPUI) is required. Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices utilizing Maven, GitHub, Jenkins, and TestNG is crucial. Candidates should have experience in continuous test automation using Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Experience in enabling in-sprint automation is also necessary. Familiarity with Automation Life Cycle activities, such as feasibility studies, estimations, proof of concepts, and possessing strong communication skills, is important. Nice to Have: Knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, Ansible/Chef, Docker, MongoDB, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Nexus/JFrog, etc., is a plus. Familiarity with code quality tools such as Sonar, Jacoco, and SeaLights is advantageous. Exposure to AI/ML concepts and insights on their applicability to testing is beneficial. Experience with non-functional testing, including performance testing (using JMeter), accessibility testing (using JAWS), and visual testing (using Applitools), is desirable. Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices is also a plus. Work Location: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad. Mandatory Skills: SDET.
