Quality Engineer

Job description Monitor and ensure quality standards in all phases of construction activities, including structural and finishing works. Conduct inspections and testing of materials (cement, sand, aggregates, steel, concrete) to verify compliance with IS codes and project specifications. Oversee quality control operations at the RMC (Ready-Mix Concrete) plant, including mix design verification, cube testing, and batch consistency. Ensure that RMC supplied to site meets required workability, strength, and durability parameters. Maintain QA/QC documentation including test reports, checklists, inspection records, and NCRs. Coordinate with site engineers and contractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. Liaise with third-party labs and testing agencies for material and concrete testing. Report any quality deviations, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend preventive measures. Ensure adherence to quality management systems, safety norms, and statutory guidelines.
