Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work. Role overview As a Sr Product Manager, focused on the Data Platform Portfolio, you will be responsible for understanding the needs of our data engineering, platform engineering and ML Engineering teams. You will partner with your platform engineering teams and other PMs to build the infrastructure and the tools for a scalable, performant and reliable data platform that can power all the analytical, Data Science, AI and ML use-cases for Target. As a Product Manager for the data platform, you will be leading the efforts to identify the capabilities and features that are needed in the modern data platform,understand the consumption patterns for the data by all the personas and how would these capabilities be powered to solve the problems of the users. You will set the tone, vision, strategy, OKRs and prioritization for this capability. You will be the voice of the Customer with your product team and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met, and you will be responsible to maintain and refine the product backlog (create user stories & acceptance criteria) while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders. You will encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction. About you Four-year degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience 6+ years of product management experience in Data Platforms and for developer focused products.
