Job description What you will do: Lead automation efforts across PDS Core QA teams by providing technical guidance and resolving complex automation challenges Develop and maintain automation metrics to track progress, productivity, and efficiency Drive initiatives to maximize team output, improve automation velocity, and reduce maintenance overhead Support Core QA teams in achieving their automation goals through mentorship and technical leadership Act as a hands-on automation engineer, directly contributing to test automation across multiple QA projects Collaborate with QA and Dev teams on planning, prioritization, scoping, and estimation for automation Review and enhance existing automation scripts and frameworks to ensure quality and compliance. Design scalable and robust automation solutions based on business requirements Execute automated tests and analyze results Identify defects and track them Maintain and manage test suites Conduct peer code reviews What we are looking for: 9+ years of experience in QA automation Bachelors degree in computer science or a similar major Strong understanding of Core Java and OOP concepts. Proficient in managing complex projects involving multiple tools and technologies. Proficiency in writing automated test cases using Selenium WebDriver integrated with TestNG or JUnit. Extensive knowledge of various frameworks and hands-on experience in their practical implementation. Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks. Solid understanding of version control like Perforce , GIT and branching strategy. Strong understanding of relational databases with hands-on experience in platforms like Oracle and PostgreSQL. Strong knowledge of SQL, with the ability to write moderate to complex queries for data validation and verification. Strong knowledge of test management tools like Spira, Zephyr, Xray or similar tools for test case management and reporting. Expertise in API automation using Postman or similar tools. Expertise in Jenkins CI/CD tool . Advanced debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in automated scripts or during test execution. Familiarity with test management tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, and Allure for reporting and tracking.
