Job Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Lead Business Development to spearhead client engagement, market expansion, and revenue generation for our Marine Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marine engineering solutions, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in business development. Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain continuous engagement with current and potential clients, keeping them updated about our marine engineering software products and services. Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic focus areas. Participate in and contribute to the execution of marketing events, exhibitions, and expos to generate leads and brand visibility. Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals and bids tailored to client needs. Maintain and regularly update the CRM database with customer interactions and insights. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure availability and quality of marketing collaterals. Provide quarterly performance reports demonstrating business development activities and customer engagement outcomes. Support pre-sales activities through insightful market intelligence and client-specific strategy building. Key Focus Areas: Naval Architectural & Ship design activities for new build, refit & retrofit projects Ship yard feasibility studies and concept designs 3D Scanning Services for marine and industrial applications Virtual walkthrough solutions for ships and industrial plants Photo realistic rendering Technical documentation for marine industry including GRAQs & IETM (Interactive Electronic Technical Manual) creation up to Level 4 Sales and promotion of marine software solutions: Paramarine SeaWeigh ShipWeight MassTrack Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Growth in customer awareness and inbound queries for marine solutions Conversion of leads to successful sales closures Expansion of CRM database with high-quality, relevant contacts Demonstrated domain knowledge of marine engineering, customer pain points, and market needs Quality and clarity in proposals, documentation, and client communications Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or related field. MBA in marketing is a plus. 7–10 years of relevant experience in business development or technical sales in the shipbuilding or marine engineering domain Strong knowledge of the marine industry, including ship design processes and marine software applications Proven experience in developing and executing sales strategies, proposal writing, and client handling Proficient in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office suite Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel for client visits, expos, and industry events Why Join Us?
