Job description JOB PURPOSE This Role is responsible for coordination and monitoring of conceptual and detailed implementable smart city plans along with internal team, experts and consultants shall also Monitor, review, coordinate with other teams. Develops ecosystem of technology partners and offerings for various smart airport cities solution/applications. ORGANISATION CHART KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Accountabilities KPI Monitor and support conceptual and detailed implementable smart airport city plans along with internal team, experts and consultants. own the design and finalization of overall solution architecture for Smart City projects across all areas of the smart airport city master plan Review and be the owner of the design phase of the solution, as prepared by external consultants and participate in all discussions and meetings to verify that the design is sound, installed, configured and implemented correctly Work across internal departments to ensure that the solutions are fit for purpose, are technically leading edge and future proof and allow for scaling and replication in the future. Select, review and then drive Proof of Concept projects across the various solution areas as required Project Approval Date/Key partners finalised Develop ecosystem of technology partners and offerings for various smart airport cities solution/applications. Collaborate with technical team from other areas to develop and execute new Smart City solutions Assist in the evaluation of new solutions for integration into the smart city airport master plan Translate customer business issues/opportunities into technical solution/business requirements. Deliver successful Proof of Concept engagements that demonstrate solution outcome mapping to stakeholder and customer needs Anchor RFP response and proposals to the clients from a Technical perspective Develop and/or maintain expertise in Smart Airport City ecosystem Effectively support other departments with technical presentations Support Sales / BD / technical team members and train to bring them up to speed on the technical / complex strategic solutions in the Smart City master plan Baseline schedules. Working Schedules. Material & Resource tracker Reports Ensure daily, weekly and monthly progress reports are being generated and circulated to all the stake holders. Organize progress review meetings with all the stake holders Generate MIS reports, Project Progress presentations for Management. Timely Report KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS Interact with external stake holders, consultants, vendors / contractors. INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Reporting Manager, team members and other cross functional teams & heads and User Departments. FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS Planning & Scheduling Programming for Mega size projects with CAPEX of 100 200 Cr OTHER DIMENSIONS A knowledge of the following smart city technical architectures is desirable: Command and Control Intelligent Transport System Intelligent Government Services Security and Surveillance Citi Wi-fi Smart Energy Smart Water metering Solid Waste Management Emergency response and city incidence management EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Engineering Graduation from premier institute PMP Certification desirable RELEVANT EXPERIENCE The candidate must have 15+ years of experience in acting as a Solution Architect in the relevant domains - The candidate must have good understanding of products and technologies used in Smart City projects - The candidate must have experience in conceptualization, design and implementation of Solution Architecture for at least 3 large scale system integration projects in Smart City / Safe City / IOT / Critical Infrastructure Protection / eGovernance domains in the last 5 years - Knowledge in various areas including data center, platforms, storage, database, web services, security, service desk, ITIL etc. and Network Security solutions like Firewall, IPS, VPN, would be required. - Broad understanding and experience of real-time analytics, data modeling and management, analytical tools
