Job Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES: - Resolve application issues, raised by clients on a day-to-day basis, in an effective and timely manner - Maintain system support documentation for all supported applications, ensuring it is kept up to date - Monitor system integrity through daily system checks, to ensure a high standard of service is provided to clients - Assist with regular system upgrades on applications by reviewing functionality changes (new/amended), system testing, client training and updating of support documentation - Advise the team leader in developing improvements to support team processes and procedures and ensure agreed procedures are followed - Provide out of hours, weekend and bank holiday support when required as agreed with Team Lead - Assist with small enhancements on supported systems from time to time - Assist with developing improvements to team processes and procedures WORK EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE: - 3 to 5 years of Data Support experience with Sql Server. - 1 to 3 years experience with Informatica PowerCenter. - Knowledge of Salesforce with willingness to learn. - Basic experience scripting with Python. - Experience working with Agile/scrum software development framework is a plus - Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus SKILLS OTHER PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: - Must have exceptional ability in diagnosing and solving information system problems while maintaining professionalism and courtesy. - Ability to execute on deliverables, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast paced, demanding work environment. - Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate in person, over the phone, via teleconference and via email throughout the organization with a variety of individuals at all technical levels is required. - Must be able to execute assignments with moderate direction. - Strong Work ethic is required. FORMAL EDUCATION: (minimum requirement to perform job duties) - Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience. WORKING CONDITIONS: - Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment. - Hybrid office work schedule. 3 days in office required. - Hours include evenings and/or weekends, public holidays and may occasionally include 24 hour a day on call support by cell phone.
