Job description We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Mechanical Service Engineer to join our team. The role involves field service support including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment at various customer sites. The ideal candidate should be willing to travel and deliver excellent technical support. Key Responsibilities: Install, test, and commission mechanical machinery at client sites. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime. Carry out routine preventive maintenance as per company standards. Provide basic training to customer staff on equipment usage and upkeep. Prepare and submit detailed service reports and documentation. Coordinate with internal teams for technical support and spares. Follow safety protocols during all service operations. Key Skills & Requirements: Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Good knowledge of mechanical components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and manuals. Willingness to travel extensively and work independently. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer knowledge for reporting purposes. Roles and Responsibilities Provide after-sales service support to customers for industrial equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot issues with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating equipment systems. Conduct site visits to diagnose problems and implement solutions on-site or at our workshop. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical issues. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repairs, and maintenance activities. Desired Candidate Profile 1-4 years of experience in a similar role providing after-sales service support for industrial equipment/machinery. Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Any Specialization (Mechanical Engineering preferred). Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment. Proficiency in reading technical drawings, manuals, and technical documents.
