Job description Role & responsibilities To drive business growth by identifying, developing, and managing clients in need of customs Ocean Export freight forwarding services. The role focuses on generating leads, building strong relationships with importers/exporters, and delivering tailored logistics solutions that comply with international trade and customs regulations. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities for Ocean Export freight forwarding services . Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and presentations to potential clients. Understand clients' logistics requirements and offer appropriate import/export and clearance solutions. Collaborate with operations and documentation teams to ensure timely and compliant service delivery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, shipping tariffs, and freight trends. Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs. Maintain CRM records and generate regular sales reports. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in business, International Trade, Logistics, or a related field (preferred). 10 years of experience in freight forwarding. Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs documentation. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Preferred Experience: Existing client base in import/export businesses. Familiarity with ports, shipping lines, customs processes, and government regulatory bodies.
