Job description Job Title: Chocolatier Location: D bakers Central Kitchen, Fatehpur Beri, Chattarpur Department: Production - Bakery & Confectionery Reports To: Head Chef / Pastry Chef Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and creative Chocolatier to join our team at D bakers. The ideal candidate will have expertise in working with chocolate to craft high-quality products, including molded chocolates, decorations, and sculptures. The Chocolatier will be responsible for tempering, flavoring, and designing chocolates while ensuring adherence to food safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Utilize specific ingredients and equipment to produce chocolate-based products. Create unique shapes and designs by molding. Design and create chocolate decorations for cakes, pies, and pastries. Temper chocolate to achieve the desired texture, sheen, and snap. Sculpt chocolate by hand into intricate designs and large structures. Flavor chocolates with various ingredients such as caramel, vanilla, fruit extracts, and other infusions. Develop and customize chocolate molds for special projects and orders. Craft chocolate centerpieces and larger artistic displays. Store chocolate products at optimal temperatures to maintain quality and texture. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Chocolatier, Pastry Chef, or similar role. Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, molding, and sculpting techniques. Creativity and attention to detail in chocolate artistry. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Passion for chocolate and confectionery artistry. Education & Experience: Certification in Pastry Arts, Baking, or Chocolate Work preferred. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a professional chocolate or pastry kitchen.
