Job description Experience required: Total 5 years and 2 years specifically in CCR like IndiGrid. Eligibility: Diploma in Electrical engineering Role: CCR Engineer HV/EHV Substations (132 kV–765 kV) / Shift Duty Purpose: Ensure safe operations of IndiGrid’s high-voltage substations and transmission lines, remotely managed from the Central Control Room (CCR). Core Duties Substation Operations & Monitoring Operate and monitor all substation elements via SCADA. Respond to alarms, trips, and faults, logging issues in Maximo. Outage Coordination & PTW Management Coordinate real-time and emergency outages with RLDC, SLDC, RTAMC, NTPC, and maintenance teams. Handle PTW issuance and clearance effectively. Regulatory Compliance Ensure full compliance with grid codes and statutory requirements (RLDC, CERC, CEA). Submit data on RLDC trip/outage portals as required. Operational Documentation: Maintain accurate records in Maximo and Excel. Key Skills required: Strong understanding of SLD, power flow, electrical interlocks, and operation of isolators, ICTs, reactors, and circuit breakers (CBs). Proficiency in SCADA operations and alarm interpretation. Experience with Maximo or similar CMMS, and expertise in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to manage isolation procedures for CB/CT/CVT/lines, reactors, and ICTs, including PTW issuance. Knowledge of HIRA/JSA and emergency handling protocols. Excellent written and spoken English for nationwide coordination.
