Job description Role & responsibilities Financial Planning & Budgeting Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for facility management operations. Monitor operational budgets and ensure cost optimization. Analyze budget variances and provide corrective action recommendations. Support management with financial modeling and business planning. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure timely MIS reporting for management review. Maintain accurate financial records and reporting systems. Present financial performance analysis, trends, and profitability reports. Cost Control & Profitability Monitor project-wise and contract-wise profitability. Control operational costs related to manpower, maintenance, utilities, vendors, and procurement. Track revenue leakage and implement corrective measures. Conduct cost-benefit analysis and identify opportunities for savings. Accounts & Compliance Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations. Manage audits, tax filings, VAT/GST compliance, and financial documentation. Oversee accounts payable, receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow management. Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities. Contract & Commercial Management Review facility management contracts from a financial and commercial perspective. Monitor contract billing, invoicing, collections, and payment schedules. Ensure revenue recognition aligns with contractual terms. Support tendering and pricing processes for new contracts. Internal Controls & Risk Management Implement and maintain strong financial controls. Ensure adherence to company SOPs and financial governance. Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct periodic internal financial reviews and audits. Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate with operations, procurement, HR, and project teams. Provide financial insights to support business decisions. Support senior management with strategic financial recommendations.
