Description About VMEDULIFE VMEDULIFE is building the Digital Infrastructure of Academic Institutions” by enabling educational institutions to digitally manage and transform their complete institutional ecosystem through one unified platform. We are looking for a creative, execution-driven, and content-focused Content & Video Creator who can transform founder discussions, institutional insights, webinars, and internal conversations into engaging short-form and long-form digital content. This role goes beyond traditional designing and focuses on content capture, video editing, content repurposing, and digital storytelling. Job Overview The Content & Video Creator will be responsible for recording, editing, repurposing, and publishing impactful digital content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of short-form attention-driven content, video storytelling, and social media platform trends. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about: Digital Content Creation Video Production Reels & Shorts Founder Branding Social Media Storytelling Startup & SaaS Ecosystem Key Responsibilities 1. Video Recording & Content Capture Record founder videos, interviews, institutional discussions, and internal conversations Capture behind-the-scenes content for branding purposes Assist during webinars, podcasts, and internal recording sessions Set up and manage basic recording equipment (mobile/camera, mic, lighting) Ensure quality content capture for post-production 2. Video Editing & Short-Form Content Creation Edit engaging short-form videos for: LinkedIn Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts X (Twitter) Responsibilities include: Converting long-form discussions into engaging short clips Adding subtitles, captions, hooks, transitions, overlays, and animations Optimizing videos for platform-specific formats Delivering polished, high-retention content 3. Content Repurposing Repurpose existing content such as webinars, podcasts, founder discussions, and institutional sessions into: Reels Short clips Snippets Teaser videos Quote-based creatives Promotional social media assets Maintain and organize raw footage and edited content libraries for future use. 4. Creative Design Support Create basic thumbnails and social media creatives Support content formatting for publishing Ensure visual consistency with VMEDULIFE’s brand guidelines Assist with creative ideation for campaigns Required Skills Strong understanding of short-form video content creation Basic to intermediate video editing skills Proficiency in tools such as: Adobe After Effects Premiere Pro (preferred) Canva (basic design support) Understanding of social media content formats and trends Strong attention to detail Ability to work quickly and consistently Preferred Skills Experience creating Reels / YouTube Shorts Understanding of LinkedIn-style professional content Experience handling webinar/podcast clips Basic camera/mobile videography knowledge Interest in startup branding, SaaS, EdTech, or digital storytelling Eligibility Education: Bachelor’s degree / pursuing graduation in: Mass Communication Multimedia Digital Media Marketing Any relevant creative field Experience Required Freshers with strong editing portfolios are welcome OR 1–3 years of experience in: Video Editing Content Creation Social Media Content Production What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Enjoys creating digital-first content Understands audience attention and engagement patterns Is creative, proactive, and execution-focused Can work in a fast-paced startup environment Is eager to experiment, learn, and grow Why Join VMEDULIFE?
